Hey all, I'm Cuive! (aka Kyle, for those who prefer first names)

First off, I gotta say as disclaimer: I'm a pretty open-minded, crazy, wacky guy. At first you'll be all "meh" about it, but trust me, it'll grow on you. I mean well

Oh, and when I write, I tend to write a LOT. Don't be surprised, please... you'll come to expect it soon enough. I'll try to make it interesting though .

My team and myself have been struggling to make it through TWL. We lost our server due to lack of funds, and have been using Skype to scrim (which actually works surprisingly well). While browsing, my friend happened upon JL and String's desire to help out and sponsor gaming teams. Thanks to his generosity, as well as the generosity of every JL member, we have been selected to help represent both JL, as well as the message behind this clan. I speak for all of us when I say: we are excited

Look for the other members of the team around. I've been riding them to sign up on the forums for a bit now, but it seems like everyone's busy with school and work around now. I promise they'll make an appearance. ( Their names are Axel, You Must Recover!!!, GenRancour/Cirno, Infinity, and LtK, FYI)


I just want to add something I've really come to notice: JL is unique. I noticed it from the moment I read the sponsor ad, but after lurking through your site, and especially the testimonials, I gotta say... wow. Never in my life could I have thought that two great Gs, Gaming and God, could go together, lol.

I suppose I also want to confess now, to complete strangers, something I've always kinda kept inside. For 18 years of my life I wasn't a believer... and in some respects I suppose I'm still not a "true" believer... well...maybe. See, that's another thing that attracted me to this team... I feel like the community here can really help me along this path I've seemingly stumbled upon in regards to faith... but I'll talk more about that some other time.

Quick things to know about me:
- I can be crass, but I mean well. Honestly.
- I attended Catholic school for 9 years of education (all but Middle School)
- I have played TF2 for approaching a year now.
- I have mained (in this order): Medic, Scout, Demo and Soldier. I have around 17 total days of playtime on TF2, and 180 hours of it alone is time spent playing Demoman.
- I am a sophomore Software Engineer student at the Rochester Institute of Technology. I love it
- I'm excited to be here

My name is Mantis, I am the leader of the newly picked up Counter-Strike Source team. I was once apart of a once great multi-gaming community. What i can tell you is that this one is 10x better for the fact that no one ever makes you feel uncomfortable or will flip on you. Everyone in JL is a great person.
